Billy will be remembered as a good friend. He and my dad worked together at the woolen mill for many years. I first met Billy in 1976 when I was a deputy. He was always humerous and fun to be around. I will miss him..Mike Martin

I knew Billy all of my life, and was proud that he was a friend of mine. We grew up together on 21st, and even though he was a bit older than I, we were lifelong friends. I admired Billy, and thought very much of his family. I once had a long talk with him about the South Town Rinky Dink book, and he was as outspoken about our old stomping ground as I am. He gave me a story to put in the book, and loved the manuscript copy I gave him. He was a good man to have as a friend, and we never failed to share a laugh or two each time we met. He will be missed, and was one of the last of a dying breed, a true Rinky Dink. RIP Billy, I will remember you always. Don Harpe
